Got a domain name for our business and spent a lot of time and money for ranking etc but it has been hit by Google once

now thinking about changing the name to a new domain. Can I redirect anything or any disadvantage of changing or u think might be good and learn from mistakes from before and don't get hit by Google

it's a offline business and local business

thanks

If you redirect the old domain name to a new one it will kill the new one.

If you rank your site using the local algorithm, it will not react to google updates.

I suggest you learn Local SEO instead of SEO by backlinks.

I would suggest creating parallel websites, making the old domain to be independent

My suggestion in forget the old one, and do some better with New one.
