Some advice please!

Hi, I have a cat niche instagram page with 12k followers.
I got some viral pictures with almost 100k likes, the regular ones get about 2k in 24h and a bit more after that.
I get around 20-30 messages per day from people that want to buy my account.
Some of them advice me to sell it before it dies, they offer me 100-200$

I want advice from experienced guys. Do you think my account will actually die and I should sell it or do I keep growing my account and sell products in the future?

The question you should ask yourself is do u have to sell it or u can spend time growing it and make more than that $200 from it. Nobody can tell you if your account is going to die because it's up to you.

yes, i have the time, I've been posting 2-3 times on it since december and posting some stories, it worked out great!
should i be fine if i keep doing this ?

I guess but do u have in mind how u are going to monetize it?

Yes, I was told that cat pages work great with dropshipping so I'm planning to create a store and promote it using my page.

You can do that or keep growing it then start selling shoutouts

They'd be offering you 10 dollars

Keep doing what you're doing. You got a good account there

Now what you need is a backup account

I won't go into detail on how to keep both accounts safe Plenty of tutorials and advice on BHW

Because someday even if no fault of your own it could die. and starting over from the beginning is a heart breaker

I actually asked someone who was trying to buy my account about that: " If you think the account is going to die why would you want to buy it?", he was like "Cat niche is f*cked so I will change the account's niche"
I don't think that works well xd If you change an account's niche you'll probably lose most audience.

Any thread you suggest with a great backup account tutorial?

Ok I have no idea whether the cat niches is good or bad. also, it depends on your followers

The best thing you can do

1 is open an amazon account and find something hot in the cat niche
and see if that makes any sales. Try a few things

2 offer really cheap shout outs, If they come back for more you know its working.
Also you can see what other people are trying out.

I'm no expert on Instagram but common sense tells me Just because people like cats means they are interested in cars or perfume
More than likely you will lose a lot of your engagement

As for opening back up accounts.
you set up a new account in a new browser and dedicate that browser to that account.

If your only running 3 or 4 accounts. Make them look like family members.
That way you should be safe

there are tutorials on BHW if you want to do lots of accounts
Just use the search box
 
if you can monetize it in other ways, do it. I dunno, ads, aff links maybe?

100-200$ for an account is way too little
 
It cannot die as long as you remain engaged with it and perform daily activities in order to grow the page.

Ask yourself that will you be continuing the same in the coming months, if not, then I suggest you sell it now.
