    Hi

This maybe a silly question but as i dont no the answer i thought id ask it here:

I have a few EM insurance domians 6 in total
    I have 2 sites
The other 4 domians i forward to the relevent domian

2 to each of the sites these are new domain names no back links at the time of purchase, i dont have time to build new sites for these domians at this time
they are relevet words to the on page seo

Is it ok to build links to these forwarded domains will my sites benefit in anyway as i have the e3xcact words within the text on the websites? or is this bad SEO

id appreciate any advice on this matter, but i have been building links to these domains for some time, the websites themselves have gd on page seo and are ranking well

    Thanks :)

It is always beneficial to build links to a forwared domain, provided the redirect is built with a 301, and not a refresh or 302. Ideally, you would've built a few links prior to the establishing the redirects to your main website, however, they still can provide value.

Unfortunately, Google does not pass the "exact-match" value through a 301. If this was the case, you could purchase 100 exact match domains for long tail keywords, build 3-4 links to each, and redirect your money sites.

Your best option is to put good content on the 4 redirect sites (5+ pages, each with 200 words or more) Go buy 2-3 Fiverr backlinks from top rated sellers, don't buy BULK backlinks, a few blog links is enough. Then, once those 4 sites appear in the serps for something other than the domain name, you are good to redirect them.

The fact that Google values those sites enough to list them for a second keyword means they have value to pass.

At this point, I would remove the redirects, put a few pages of content on the sites, buy a few solid links to each of the 4 sites, wait 5-7 days, check the SEPRS, then 301 them to your money site.

I have used this tactic on both large scale sites and small scale sites and it has worked without fail.
