Solve This Massive Daily Spamming On BHW Every Morning.

BHW Mods,

Everyday an Indian astrologer spams the board in the morning in Indian time and being an Indian I understand that the spammer(s) are Indian - why don't an Indian or may be from anywhere, who stays online in the morning time in India is given the ban hammer button ?

The moment this spammer makes a single post and bam the ban hammer.

Can it be done ?

Mods are doing the best they can. Most of them are volunteers. Report and ignore the posts for a while, they'll take care of it as fast they can.
This 'persuading' thing doesn't work here.
 
Just report the profiles and wait, I am doing that always. Mod takes action as fast as they can.

I read in a thread that in the Indian time morning the Mods are asleep and that's why they are not able to ban this spammer instantly. If so then I guess something should be done than seeing the whole homepage filled with love guru ads.
 
Seriously need to deal with this once and for all!
 
Another step to mitigate the issue: Limit number of posts a new account can make. If someone attempts to make 10 threads in the first 24 hours, that's a bit of a tip-off.

But, I voted no in the poll, because obviously Admins and Mods are aware of the situation. There are technical challenges too.
 
Agree, may be you guys can just lookup for a few keywords and put it in moderation queue instead of publishing it directly.

This guy writes "specialist" in almost all threads' titles so this keyword on new accounts should be put on moderation.

The admin can put an auto ghosting feature when those words are used.I'm sick of seeing those threads flooding up the homepage every morning.

Nice but also if you flag literally every post with the title include '91' th as t would catch them all and not many people have 91 in title

91 is the word in the title or in the body.
 
In the title. Other than maybe posting a metric you rarely put 91 in your title

All his threads have 91 in them
 
Should limit number of new threads per day for a new user.
Appoint an Indian mod to cover this time shift.
