For server and port you could always use wireshark and change server details on fly

So this uses another service then decaptcher but uses the decaptcher interface for application "X"? Wouldn't the fail rate of solved captchas go to hell and if it doesn't work all the time... what's the point?

No, it don't need an account with decaptcha. You just need to follow standard settings, then replace the decaptcher.dll with the cracked one and use user, pass, port and server given in ReadMe.txt

I dont think it would work, but try doing it might give an idea. I am not the owner of the server so I m not sure if Protocols are same. But if the protocols and variable names are same then changing decaptcher to captchasocr in host file will work I guess.
Any way try it and share the experience.

This is absolutely not to criticize, as I enjoy the service , but I found strange that the domain was registered on May 16 and you reported it here on the 18th...

Seems the registrar was netearth one, and that it's hosted at SingleHop. I found same sites sharing the same IP as captchasocr server.

Now that I've done more tests, I don't bebieve 1 second that captchas are solved by software...
I used to send a middle difficulty captcha several times yesterday night: sometimes it come back with unvalid code, and a software OCR would be constant with the same captcha.
Another fact is that errors look like humans typing or interpretation errors.

You should really stop to spread that it's software OCR when it's absolutely wrong. Better to let us know why are you offering us this service for free, and for how many time it will still free and working.

I used the Html Form poster available on their website.

I suggest all of you to go on google and do a search with this expression "Understanding CAPTCHA-Solving Services in an Economic Context". It will return a PDF document as first result, please read this whole detailed document.
