reddit is currently sanitizing the site so they can start charging for premium content(subreddit paywall or sell the site as a whole). additionally they have upped all the filters, like spamming content will result in a ban in most cases now, now even having comments revmoved by thier autofilters of the subs will flag your account, the mods are totally complicit(just look into the MOD help sub, they are ok if the ban catches innoccent accounts, most of them dont believe any are innocent if caught on the filters). Also recieving a temp ban also causes them to look at all your previous accts, if you a regular user like me, to see if any of them remotely commented in a sub they were banned in a long time ago and the reddit somehow dint catch you, a retroactive ban. Also accts that commented in a sub that your were banned in the future too with a future account.

most of the SOCIAL medias behave more or less the same now, moentize heavily , promoting right wing content to drive conservative topic and encourage divisive commenting from the other side, this is META, and recently YOutube joined the ranks, and now TIKTOK. Reddit only began to amplify COnsrtve messaging since the election, especially HUFFMAN cant stop groveling for trump. all of them one of thing in common, bots that stir this type of content up.

pretty much if your just a regular using and not just spamming/advertising with expensive methods. probably create acc using a college library on thier computers(some universities allow guests to use it, but with limited internet connection, i was able to use thier normal computers without the throttled wifi with unconventional/unauthoriz means" prior to pandemic

i dont see how reddit would give new mobile accounts special privileges of not getting banned, maybe initially if you tried commenting, but every other instance after acct creation is more or less the same if you created from a browser. and reddit currently is shadowbanning almost any account they detect if they think its spamming or botting.

Best thing is to use accs from real IOS devices (Iphone 11 and upwards works best)
