Solo ads is basically where you put your ad on other people's email list and give them a money to promote your offer or blog or website or anyhing.

i dont think solo ad converts well

There are two perspective of your question. One from Solo ads buyer's and another is Solo ads seller's perspective. Please, specify from which perspective you want to know this?

Solo ads is a business, where people sale leads/clicks. The rate may very from 20-60 cents per 100 clicks. They will just send you clicks. There is no assurance of opt-in or conversion. There are many groups of solo ads seller and re-seller that you may find on skype and fb. I prefer Udimi. You can buy clicks from any of these.

If you want to do solo ads business, you can be a seller or a reseller. To be a seller, you need bulk active email list of certain group of customers. It needs time. To become a re-seller, you will buy from seller and re-sell it to another party, who need clicks.

There are a lot of shitty solo sellers out there but I have found a really good group to go on Facebook.

I seen awesome results with all of the sellers there. They will also help you with your funnel to maximize your results.

You have been buying from the wrong people. see above

A lot of cowboys in the Solo Ads game and a lot of those FB groups are just a Solo Ad Seller Circle Jerk.

Do your research on the seller before buying.
