Following up on my intro. Been heads down the last few weeks on the setup for the 50 site goal. Not gonna give the full process away cause I'm still tuning bits, but rough shape so far.
One author across all 50. Same name, same face, same backstory. Felt better than juggling 50 fake personas.
Cadence isn't flat. Priority sites get 3 posts a day, the smaller ones get 1. Slow drip rather than blasting them all at once.
Each site has its own voice locked in so it reads like one person rambling about that topic, not a generic content mill. AI does a research pass on the topic before drafting, so it's not just pulling from training data. I edit on top.
Got a small bit of budget to play with now too. Was on the cereal diet when I posted the intro, things are slightly less grim. Nothing crazy but enough to test stuff.
Was also thinking about doing short form video on the side for the priority sites. Shorts, TikTok, Reels. Not sure if it's worth the effort or if I'd just be splitting focus.
Where my head is stuck:
one author across 50 sites, EEAT win or footprint flag, heard both sides
anyone actually plugging live research into the draft stage or are you just leaning on the manual edit pass for EEAT
how do you handle link building at this scale without it costing more than the sites earn or looking like an obvious network
what's actually working for indexation in 2026 when you're pushing hundreds of new urls a week, aside from IndexNow
how long do you give a site before you kill it
if you had a few hundred to spend on a setup like this where would you put it first, links, indexing, AI stuff, video, something else
anyone running short form video alongside a content site portfolio, distraction or actually pulls weight
Anything else you'd throw at this, drop it. Stuff that's bitten you, stuff that paid off, all welcome.
