Solid method for you guys!

Where am I, 2014? Not much of a method brother. Here are some new 2016 methods for you:

build an authority site -> send traffic -> profit!
make a youtube review video -> send traffic -> profit!
build an app -> send traffic -> profit!
resell seo services -> send traffi -> profit!

See a trend? These aren't methods because I left out all the details. If finding good traffic was easy and free, and you could do it in respectable amounts, we'd all be millionaires.

your method is very good because its basic with not a lot of complications. however breaking down those steps then there is some difficulty i.e.. sometimes your advertisement methods might not work or you don't reach your target audience for some reason. It works and thats all that matters, you're doing things right. keep it up man.
