if you sold if for 10k, don't be cheap and try to avoid taxes and pick a shady way to get the payment, it's better to pay a little higher taxed and be sure to get the money than getting scammed and losing everything. go for escrow or something similar.

Safest would be to use escrow or BTC. There are going to be fees. You cannot avoid it.
Just make sure if you use BTC you get paid full amount up front.
Lots of people will try the old ill pay you half upfront BS. Then you end up chasing them for the rest of your money.

Unless you know the buyer in person, Don't get lost in the thrill. Use Escrow/BTC. Forget fees.
