Do these single optin type of offers still work profitably for people?

Payouts are like $2,50-$3,50 so I imagine that paid traffic on the major platforms doesn't work well for those?

Yes, they do.

I have a few blogs/landings for SEO traffic on which I promote CPL dating campaigns. Works like a charm.
