I've not been on BHW for a week or so, first post I happened to open randomly is this!
Limiting your search to a location (country) is hard. Basically you cannot do it via search. ISG just doesn't allow this.
You can try and filter your results. So scrape hashtag, then check the location field of the image, but lots (most?) don't have this information assigned so you will lose lots. Also, this is a very restrictive filter. If you search for #cats and ignore all images without a location field of "united kingdom" you are going to be ignored a high % of images 99% I imagine. Meaning you could hit ISG limits before you find the N images you want. But that is the only way to do it with ISG.
The only other way to get location images is via location feeds
https://www.instagram.com/explore/locations/GB/united-kingdom/
But these are specific and do not exist on a country basis - and again you would need to filter out images without your tag.
So it isn't really possible.
