software or chrome extension to watch for comment replies

I tried searching on google and can't find exactly what I'm looking for and curious if anybody knows of something like this.

I will leave replies on random blogs, torrents, forum threads, etc.. not all of these sites will offer a way to subscribe to receive updates when new comments are posted.

I currently have a folder on my bookmarks toolbar called 'subs' and anytime I post a comment where I'm interested in a response I will add them to my bookmark folder and randomly check the pages to see if anything new has been posted when I think about it. I am just looking for a better way to do this.


I'm wondering if there is a chrome/firefox extension, software, or app that will notify me when there are new responses.. or say the page is updated?
