Softblocked Instagram account information

I would like us to share some experiences in one thread with regards to getting soft blocked.

here is my experience:

I have an account with 15k followers.
For the last two weeks I have followed the maximum amount, up to 150 per hour. All done manually.
I would follow for a week, and then unfollow.

The account grew well, but now I am only able to follow/unfollow 5 per hours.

Can anyone share a similar experience and say how long it lasted?

Would love to hear other's experiences.

Did you follow private users?
Did you get a block message?

Instagram sent me three emails in a week period telling me they have reset my password thinking my account was hacked...but it wasn't.

No I didn't get a blocked message but when I follow for instance 100 people, it only ups my follow count by 5.

I follow private and other users.

If Instagram sent you 3 emails with password resets, you need to slow it down.
That's basically little warnings to you. Also following private users can lead to problems because if they don't accept or deny your request, it still counts as an "invisible follow"
So either keep track of all followings and go back to unfollow the people who don't accept / deny your request or wait 30 days and if they're inactive it should automatically deny it, I believe.

It can be 24-48 hours to i've seen some people say about a week.
Usually it means you're just following too fast and just slow it down and you should be fine.

150 per hour is way to much. Better to get a bot and run it at 20-40 an hour 24 hours a day

I guess it's what happens when you don't show patience.

Ill fire up the followliker then. I just felt like it lowered my engagement when my users are gained using it.
