Soft 404 error after web hosting down time

Hello guys i am having a problem with one of my main websites. It has a soft 404 error and this happened after my web hosting company went down for 6 days. Now it seems the main page has soft 404 error.
1. It can not be caused by thin content as it has more than 1000 words of high quality content.
2. The page has not been moved i.e it still exists.

What i am asking is, how can i fix this error? My website has no manual penalty but it does not appear in serp anymore because of this 404 error.

I recently received a webmaster's notice regarding soft 404 for one post. It has 1500 words content, so updating content to remove soft 404 is not a workaround here. In this case, just 301 that article to a new post. Constant soft 404 does affect the SEO in the long term.
