on a temp computer and been trying to connect to a vps/socks5 setup..but keep getting a connection timeout when trying via proxifier. the proxies are good, ping fine, not blacklisted etc. VPS connects fine, but proxies just timeout (i.e. can't even assign the ip/error 10060). It's not program-specific, as i tested multiple/firefox.
A bit confused at this point - google'd the heck out of it, and tried messing around with various network settings/ports.
My guess is a port issue, but unsure. I've been trying to access the proxies via hotspot wifi (i.e. starbucks), so dont have router access.
Any help would be very much appreciated.
