Hi sorry if this is a newb question. When using applications like Friend Bomber, Magic Submitter etc that require large proxy lists to work. Does it make a difference if the proxies are HTTP or SOCKS?
SOCKS proxies by default are totally anonymous, while HTTP proxies have different level of anonymity, so you need to make sure you have total anonymous proxies if using HTTP ones
What I know is HTTP only conceals your IP address while SOCKS can hide other information. Basically, most browsers use HTTP and SOCKS are used by most standalone applications.
So SOCKS is more anonymous, but is that level of anonymity necessary for posting to Facebook accounts? Going to be managing a large amount of accounts at once. Each from a different proxy.
If you have the option to choose between SOCKS 4/5 and normal HTTP I'd go for SOCKS if your software supports it. Not all HTTP proxies are anonymous and sometimes give away your real IP.
