I am using 40 http proxies right now (mainly for google scraping with scrapebox and ultimate niche finder)
But now someone build me mass domain checking software that uses socks to connect to whois servers and I am thinking about changing 10-20 http proxies to socks.
Now, my http proxies worked very well for me, they were very fast - working 100% of the time and always passed google test.
On the site where I got my proxies I see that they don't recommend socks for SEO TOOLS - can someone explain to me why is that ? Will socks be a lot slower for scraping then http ones ?
Thanks in advance
Cheers
