I have recently noticed a brand new web site ranking in positions between 1-3 on all of my major keywords.
When i look at this site its approx 3-4 months old, very few BL's and no PR.
The olny thing it does have is 75k facebook followers and 250k twitter followers.

Its pretty simple to see that pretty much every follower is fake but i was wondering how they have managed this?

How can you generate that many 'fake' followers? does anyone have any guides they are willing to share?

I expected the site to be spanked by Google but so far nothing .... its not be touched.

how do you check for 301? im pretty sure i have a competitor using them because he has nothing else going.

Socials Signals appear to be the new, powerful kid on the block.
Sure they've been around for years but, Search Engines are taking them more seriously.

As stated earlier, you can easily buy followers in BST.

If they're competent SEO's and don't want to leave a footprint - Good luck finding those 301's. Check all the backlink tools you can, maybe they missed one.

As for the fake followers check out fiverr, you can get loads of crap followers for next to nothing.

There's actually a seller on here in the BST section who can literally provide over 1 million fake followers. I don't remember their name, but maybe that's a thought.

I think I'm missing something here OP, what do you mean with "75k facebook followers and 250k twitter followers" Is it the site facebook page and twitter page has those followers or the site has those number of shares on facebook and twitter?

Yes I believe for starts adding followers are good, but shares are what you want, I am testing a gig on fiverr that uses real people to share your link thousands of times using hundreds of people all unique IPs, so far it jumped me from page 2 to page 1 4th result overnight, I will update on results. Now I will be testing a page on my site.

There are a lot of sellers around who sell Facebook fans and Twitter Followers. You could check out the BST section if you are looking to purchase some as well.

so no one knows how to create 'fake' followers themselves? without buying them?
The site is still ranking well ....

As for 301's - anyone know if/how you can check for them? ALthough i dont beleive they are using 301's as they have a PR0

Very important observation that nobody seems to answer - I presume the site has 75k likes and 250k tweets, right ?
And if yes does this fake likes/tweets really meter for a medium-hard keyword?

I am using addmefast on some sites and don't see any improvement in the ranks

I don't see much benefit from the vast number of fake social signals. It's more useful to buy a less number of real social signals from a trust accounts.

Threre are lot's and lot's of people here in BHW that you can buy followers and likes from.

OP, I'd like to share with you a case study I'm writing about this same thing. I dont want to post a link to it here for 2 reasons, 1 its not officially published to the gen pop yet and 2 I dont think I have enough posts to post a link yet anyway... (im just shy of 30 and i think you need 50) But here's what I will say in this case. I have direct evidence to prove 3 specific scenarios in Social Signals for SEO, they are this.

1.) A properly associated Facebook page, with many legit likes (fans), can immediately skyrocket the rankings of your website in Bing and Yahoo, but not necessarily Google (yet).
2.) A Web page (NOT a FB fanpage) with many "likes" and shares on social platforms like FB and Twitter, LinkedIn etc can reach top rankings in Google SERPs (these likes act as other link sources and its best when they come from authoritative personas)
3.) A Youtube channel properly associated with a webpage can raise the ranking of that website, IF, the channel has a large number of subscribers, views, likes and comments, that are "real" in the eyes of google.

Now other things are happening too. Naturally gaining social signals is good for all kinds of reasons especially if they are organic. Additionally getting combinations of social signals from any platform is likely to be beneficial in some way shape or form even if it isnt immediately apparent. These three things listed I can prove beyond a shadow of a doubt, Though there is no question in my mind that social signals will become an increasingly large part of all ranking algorithms from now into the future.

If you'll have it, I'd like to share this excerpt from the blog post I'm currently writing around a case study on social media ....

The original concept behind using links to sort search results was that when a trusted source makes a digital recommendation by way of linking to another webpage; there was a value in sorting results by amount and caliber of these "link referrals." When this started to become exploited by more and more SEOs, it forever changed the landscape of how links are viewed by search engines and this is still an ongoing process.

Going into the future we [On Q Media] believe that search engines will shift the value of links to webpages to include "link referrals" from social network profiles on a much larger scale. The essential theory behind Social Signals for SEO, is that by getting authoritative recommendations from more people on social media will move your result(s) higher in the search engines. In a nutshell, I would never post some spammy illegitimate link to a "payday loans online" company on my Facebook wall and willingly expose my friends and family to malicious spam offer or site. I suspect many of the readers out there feel the same way about the content that they are willing to post on Facebook. Most people actually cherry pick what they feel is the very best content to associate their personal pages with. Some people are incredibly resistant to "liking", "following", or "sharing" anything that they feel doesn't deserve their personal seal of approval.

Search engines have recognized the fact that they can produce less manipulated results by using the signals of authority passed around on social media as referrals for high quality content. After all, in order to be a successful search engine you have to be the best at delivering high quality content. Let's not forget that the three largest US search engines all have a vested interest in a particular social media platform.

If you want to get into more of the facts and data from these case studies send me a PM we can chat. :)

The original post confused me too...surely it's 250k twitter tweets (i.e. url shared 250k times on Twitter), and the same with facebook? Otherwise, I don't see how having Twitter followers helps in such a dramatic way.

You need proxies and bots. There's no publicly advertised bot for twitter accounts anymore since Tweet Attacks got sued. But they exist do some diggin on this forum Im sure youll find a couple... The problem is then, the followers need followers and the followers of the followers need followers... it just becomes this crazy russian doll scenario for trying to create fake authority. How many levels deep does this inception roller coaster need to go. (if you really want to go this route I know suppliers, PM me) What I instead reccomend doing is 1st buying 200-500 Gmail accounts, then creating Personas around all of these accounts, do 2-3 a day for a year. (better yet hire a VA and them do like 15 a day for a month) Add a couple pictures to the profiles friend a couple of people write a few status etc. They should each have a Youtube, Facebook, Twitter, Tumblr, Yahoo, LinkedIn,Pinterest,Instagram, Basically anything relevant. Fill up their profiles and make them look legit. Now plug those personas into a tool like Buzzbundle and keep them active and use them as Hype accounts for different products and services by engaging, with real people in conversations about your product and service. The plan should be to use these personas for a long time and create a bunch of different high authority social profiles that are in your control.
