I have found that using social networks to promote your business work amazingly well. all you have to do to find people on face book, Twitter, my space that are interested in your niche and then add them to your friend. As you build relationships, people will keep coming back for more because they feel that they have an idea about you and they will be more happy to spread the word about whatever. Is it right policy?
