Social Monkee?

It's a piece of crap - I've used it in the past; crappy pligg powered network of websites that it submits to.
 
Social Monkee got completely deindexed and all of the sites they were helping got hurt as well, right? I think anything that got shared with that network got hit during the rolling open of the Penguin update.
 
I heard a lot of people that used it got completely devastatingly deindexed as they used a specific private network of pligg social bookmarking sites they built and everything in that network got hit....
 
they went down for site modifications. Prior to updates, you could submit 1 URL per day to 25 sites. You could just create 4 accounts and thereby submit 4 urls per day (to the same 25 sites)
After coming back online... your old free accounts still work and are classed as silver. Anyone wanting to create a new account however, needs to pay $7 one-time for a lifetime membership to silver.

This prevents folks from just creating multiple accounts to submit multiple urls per day.
They still have upgraded membership to platinum for one-time 47 plus an ambasador add-on for a monthly fee

You seem to know too much about their update. Something smells fishy.

LOL. Im just a noob with like 18 posts under my belt. I'm just trying to provide any 'valuable' information I can. I thought I might even get a 'thanks' out of that... :p

Actually...
I happened to have just heard about them only last week. Signed up and did a round of free links and the next time I went to their site... it was 'down for maint'. I was curious what changes they were going to make so checked back once a day until they came back online (today) and then poked around to see what was what.

I'm not affiliated in any way - not even signed up for their aff program. Sorry to dissapoint, but... no fish here. :cool:

Update: ahh, i see... I originally said you could 'submit 4 urls today' - that does seem a little fishy.... I corrected my original post... should be '4 urls per day'.

They're more private now, removed most their past sites and started completely anew. I checked out a couple of links in the report and some of them are within the big G's index.

Ahh, all my 25 submissions went today in de-indexed social bookmarking sites, they have bad service, as they say about ambassador membership which will allow to submit in PR2-PR4 sites as well, but am not sure life of those PR'd sites
 
Can you advice me if I should join Social Monkee? If not, can you recommend other sites with the same service? Is it good or bad? Thanks..
