    Almost done with my website so now I need to start thinking about the social media part; so my question is, what are some social media plugins everyone should have?

    I've googled it but I'd rather have an answer directly from here, not to mention that the results were somewhat outdated.

    I'm looking from 'auto-post from wordpress to facebook' to 'share this post' plugins, or simply other plugins for other features that I don't even know exist. Would also like them to be free.

    Thanks

    I'd say SumoMe will do the trick nicely. + you have other free options there, just give it a try.

    Check this out: https://wordpress.org/plugins/xpinner-lite/

    The xPinner Lite WordPress plugin is intended to automatically pin images to Pinterest.com

    Key features

    • The xPinner Lite plugin works absolutely automatically and does not require any manual input. It does not matter how exactly your post was added - manually or it was created by a content automation script like CyberSyn.
    • The plugin is able to automatically extract a first, last or a random image from a regular post/page body, WordPress galleries, NextGEN galleries, post thumbnail or a custom field with a given name and automatically pin it!
    • The xPinner Lite plugin will pin images not only from the new posts, but from old ones too!
    • You can limit the oldness of posts that can be processed by xPinner Lite.
    • You can set the frequencies of pins to avoid your account suspension for a too frequent pinning.

    Wordpress provide more than good social media pluggings.WordPress plugin that allows you to quickly and painlessly add social sharing and following features to all your posts, pages and custom post types.

    The social media buttons can be easily and automatically be added to all your posts, pages or any other custom post types.You can add icons for RSS, Email, Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, Google+, Pinterest, Instagram, Youtube, "Share" and upload custom icons of your choice.

    Our social media plugin also offers widgets for sharing and following buttons that you can place in any widgetized area in your site and the widgets.You can disable automatic rendering of social icons for specific posts by using Custom Fields.

    Jetpack has some cool components. I began attempting Jetpack toward the end of last year. Genuine is, I had dependably been distrustful of Jetpack for some time then I thought it truly worked with WordPress.com online journals (its called Jetpack by WordPress.com). In the wake of introducing, I saw an element called Publicize and chose to give it a shot.

    Jetpack by WordPress.com

    - Likes, permitting your perusers to demonstrate their valuation for your posts.

    - Easily installed media from mainstream locales like YouTube, Digg, and Vimeo.

    - Integration with and programmed presenting on your most loved informal communities including Twitter, Facebook, Tumblr, Path, and LinkedIn.

    Sumome +1, it's simple to use and gets the job done but I don't really admire Jetpack as it can get rather complicated.

    You can get plugins in the wordpress itself from plugin section within dashboard. If you didn't get the required plugin then you can download it from google and can add it in the your website manually. As you asked there are more number of social media auto publish plugins are there and i mentioned few of that below:
    -> Microblog Poster
    -> Social Media Auto Publish
    -> Facebook Auto Publish
    -> Twitter Auto Publish
    -> LinkedIn Auto Publish
    You can get these plugins from the below link:
