Social Media + Offline

Hello everyone!

I am currently interning at an art gallery and we have an event coming up. I was tasked with the job of integrating social media (Twitter to be exact) with a fun activity. All I have now is a kind of scavenger hunt. Contestants will start in the lobby and tweet "ready" to us via our @username. Then they will be sent their first clue. Then they will have to either answer the question OR take picture of the art and forward it to us again where they will receive a "Nope, try again" and another clue OR a "That's it!" and the clue for the next target. They would have to do this till they end (about 10 items).

I also thought about using QR codes and awarding the individuals who scanned the most. This way its less of a competition and its a bit more casual. I heard that they mainly want to check out the art and then sip on some fancy drinks so i thought the more casual the better. The goal overall is to give the people something to do as they are looking at the art work.

ANY ideas (or additions to what I already said) would help me out! I wrote this in more detail but my message was removed the first time? So this is sort of a shorthand version!

Ok, so far I made a quick site in WP that allows the users to see like 20 questions about different pieces in the gallery. Some are questions, some present a silhouette of the piece and they have to find out the name, and some are image riddles. At the end they submit their name and email. This is a great but how would I get them involved on my twitter page? Any ideas?
