After using social apps for years, the same issues keep coming up: biased algorithms that amplify division, rampant content theft, and monetization that only works for the top 1 - 10%.

There are even more that aren't as significant, but one thing is clear. A shift is needed

Addressing every issue at once will probably not work, that's why some are addressing the more significant ones.
And a platform stands out for tackling 3 of the issues listed... Bleep!

impartial recommendation is solved through through stochastic pagination... True ownership, via NFT minting + originality checks
And universal monetization rights, through redistribution pools.

It’s still early, but the approach is pretty thoughtful in my opinion.

Interesting idea, but adoption is always the hardest part. Many platforms have promised fair algorithms, creator ownership, and better monetization. The challenge isn't the tech it's getting enough users and creators to move from existing platforms.

True... Most people choose comfort over novelty

Couldn't agree more! You've perfectly outlined exactly why the current social media landscape is broken.

Bleep! sounds like it's tackling the hardest problems head-on. Impartial recommendations via stochastic pagination and decentralized monetization through redistribution pools are exactly the kinds of innovative solutions we need right now. It's still early, but I'm really liking their thoughtful approach to these core issues.
