Hi Guys,

After all these updates it's getting tiresome (i'm some of you will agree) of always getting hit and rebuilding, my question is, is anyone just using social media accounts (mainly instagram) for marketing instead of their actual own domains to get traffic and sales? i'm thinking just a funnel to grab the email and build them up over time in different niches, bypass sites altogether kind of thing.

cheers guys

Graham

It depends on your field very much, but a ton of small entrepreneurs, especially b2c self-employed (like beuaty services, local clothing brands, bakeries, artisans etc.), use IG as their only channel of interaction with target audience.

I'd say it's very efficient for b2c and for promoting goods and services that have good visuals (obviously), while for b2b it is still better to have own domain

social media is always your friend to move some traffic sometimes could be difficult but not imposible and get were you want, anything that can move traffic to you is good and you shoudl use it.

Hi, I totally get it! Using Instagram for direct marketing and building email lists can definitely work. It's a great way to simplify and stay agile. Good luck!
