Spamming I think so.
Spamming with a lot of links to his blog. They need to post more personal comments and no promotions
Facebook is more strict on banning recently, hence quality accounts matters more than before
if u take fb then it wud be spam
but twitter won't consider if u change the links or tweets everytime
Spamming and making the account look like a bot account smh
It is due to mass spamming and short writings, makes it look like bots or churn and burn.
As above spamming! However, a lot of ppl myself included have at one time got into the mindset of blasting out links that offer very little value to others. Example: cheap viagra + spammy link drop! It looks awful and offers no value whatsoever, and even looks desperate!
However, it could be argued that some social platforms like micro blogging don't offer much character space for you to post something of real value. In that particular case you could use a micro message like this... Viagra a growth industry+ link drop. In this space we've offered a human aspect pun or slight humour which shows a human face to our post and not just another automated bot, even though we possibly are.
Now we've got our facebook profile up and running and we've added various friends that don't really know us from Adam. Next we start spamming them with special offers every day. This will not only destroy our credibility in their eyes - but will also make us come across as shifty con men. Spend a bit of time with your punters oopsI mean potential customers, get to know them a bit, and show interest. After that you could gradually drip feed a few offers in the form of suggestions and informal chats. Do not go head on and try to flog to them outright! Try to think of the scenario like when you go into a shop and are perused by that salesman that hovers around you like a pesky dung fly. Give ppl space and gain their trust.
Hope that helps.
All most common mistakes have already mentioned. But i also want to add inconsistency, lack of good content and inefficient link building strategy (or lack of it as such) as mistakes that will get your social media presence nowhere.
When users come to your page, they look at your latest posts, their relevance, and freshness. If you post only once in a while and when you do, don't add any ‘personal touch' to it, this content probably won't give you high page rank and many likes. Lack of good content is another stumbling block on the way to your social media success, and spamming is a part of it. The original purpose of social media sites is to build ‘communities' and connect people, not make them another shopping platform. Thus, if you don't provide high-quality content to your readers, you probably won't get big fan base. And last in the list, inefficient link building strategy. This should be your main priority after creating great content. In the end, you might have exactly what people are looking for, but if they can't easily find you, your social media presence won't make much of a difference to you or others. So, build links, engage with similar people and pages, have social media share buttons on your website and motivate others to go social with you.
Hope this helps.
