Social Listening for 2024?

I would like to know what you think, those who use social listening to be able to track information about their brand, to be able to join talks where they can get followers in an economical and natural way.
Which marketers are really using social listening to get customers?
I believe it is the most effective way to achieve, obviously it is active listening, not passive marketing, but functional.
Anyone, any real marketer who can share some information or opinion with me?
