I recently received a 'Social engineering content detected' message on Google Search Console for one of my sites:

The console message didn't mention which particular ad was causing the issue. However, my site was displaying Ad-Center.com ads. Reading through Google's help files, it appears that it doesn't like ads that appear to be 'download' buttons but are actually adverts:

I immediately removed the Ad-Center ads and requested a Google Review, which came back successfully. I haven't lost my rankings.

I was wondering whether anyone else has had this issue recently? I'm not sure what to do now. It's now risky to put these kind of ads, and there'd probably be the same problem for similar ad networks like AffiliateBuzz.
