Social bookmarks: how early can i start?

I have a new website I'd like to promote with some offsite seo. it's a two page, static website. very very simple. it's 10 days old. do you think that purchasing 800 social bookmarks is ok or do I risk some kind of penality? thanks

personally I think 800 is over kill for 1 short blast for a site that has no links. Maybe if you could spread them out over the course of a week it wouldn't raise to many flags. Just my opinion

The problem with social bookmarks for a money site is that many can be voted on negatively, and you have no control over that.

I would try article marketing, e.g. Ezine Articles, first.

Don't do it, 800 is overkill for 1 URL.

I don't go over 300 social bookmarks a week for my new websites, my money site only gets around 50 of them since I also add other URL's linking to my money site (e.g web20, articles, profiles etc.).
