Does that work for ranking the video?? I've got bookmarking demon so I guess that wouldn't be a problem

yes but using good keyword seo will get you traffic, hit a niche before it comes out upload 100 different videos with different title and you should get 500 clicks on your links aday MINIMUM when the niche comes alive.

youtube videos now need to be baclinked with variety.

It's not only about using bookmarking, but also web2.0, profiles and articles.

Good news is that you can get that for cheap nowadays (just search for a good BHW provider)
