Social Bookmarking Sites - Pligg vs. non scripted Platforms

I've been out of the game for a while and I'm jumping back into the groove.
When it comes to social bookmarking sites are you guys find that using those scripting sites like pligg are more powerful over those stand alone sites like Digg, StumbleUpon?

The stand alone sites are obviously more powerful, but the advantage of PLIGG sites it that there is a lot more of them. Submit to both, that way you will get a mix of both with some nice IP diversification.

Bumping thread. I was on wickedfire today and I noticed they seem to seriously advocate against using all your bookmarks from pligg platform. anyone have any input?
