Hello my name is Angela. :D

My confusion :confused:knows no bounds. I would like to think that I have some common sense when it comes to SEO, at least I would hope so seeing as though I have read every ebook, pdf, blog posts etc about seo I could.

In the beginning:baby09: of my website (about 8 months ago) I used some duplicate content, did irregular posting, didn't optimize my keywords, etc. Now I am going back to the site and try to rewrite older posts with complete optimization, original content, better ad placement, amazon links etc. I ping the post, but have toyed with the thought of Stumbling, Digging, and Tweeting each new post. So here is where things are getting tricky for me, because doing this is obviously spam and obviously just as bad as bum article marketing...right?

New strategy is to make a hub, ezine, go article, and maybe a blogger post linking to my low competition long tail keywords and maybe adding a facebook/myspace blog post, article alley, and a few do follow bookmarks with a yahoo answer and maybe even a squidoo lense for my harder to rank content... {My niche isn't all that competitive, the salesy people focus the selling, and the people who provide real information are oldies with very little seo, and big adsense checks :( }.

I am doing this one by one on all my content while adding new content daily. :eek:I made the mistake of using duplicate content in the beginning, but hope things will get easier after my site reaches the one year mark:) Am I missing something?:baby09:

Would socially bookmarking every post be harmful for my seo? Is there anything else I need to do?

I might need to repost this question on another forum, maybe I'll email that problogger guy. But since I already have an account here I thought maybe I'll get my answer sooner. :)

If you have used DC content and have had it removed. Then might it be a good idea to go into GWT and clear the cashed version of your pages (or remove them from G.)

I am currently rewriting them, but I did know I could clear cache with gwt. Thanks! I am more than likely going to every duplicate post over to clear it from looking like duplicate content, or do you think its better to just remove it all together?
