social bookmarking noob lost

Ok just got accounts on folkd and digg and submitted my URL. But I am confused:

folkd - my link is not visable to public (I chose public not private) and it says something like:
The URL httpblahblah is not listed in the folkd database yet. Make a contribution to add this url to the index.
What should I do to make it go live?

digg - submitted but it does not look you get a hardlink there??? I checked source of the page my link is on and instead of having a hardlink all it has is digg.com/story/r/your_keyword or something. I am confused because people said digg link will boost your rankings (menaing its a hardlink) but I don't see any hardlink in page source. What is going on?

Its just that nobody has digged it yet and I don't know what folkd is. Digg should be fine. It is just nobody has digged it and it may be to new to display. It may still be processing in there system.

No he is correct, digg redirects to the page using diggcom/story/r/

But it still should pass some juice.

I was eager to start but 2 out of 2 failures kicked my enthusiasm down...
And on top of that whats going on with squidoo??? Couple year ago I created few lenses and they were indexed plus got some traffic (like 1-2 or 3 hits daily). Now couple weeks ago I created even better lens than my previous from couple years ago and it still got ZERO visitors. PLUS my do follow link from that lens to my site is not indexed by yahoo site explorer neither by google. Is squidoo complete worthless?
