We see players like neymar who earns around $700,000 per week. Too much if you ask me.

Why?

Because the clubs can’t keep up with all the out-of this world salaries. Most European top clubs are in a huge debt and it Will only grow as Long as they don’t set a salary cap.
It also creates unfair competition between top clubs and mid clubs, as the best players demands outrages salaries.

Soccer as a sport, Will collapse if this salary party doesn’t get limited.

They should have a salary cap, just like the NFL.

There is a UEFA official here called @Blackhat Lifter he has been tagged and will follow up on your request stay tuned as this request shall soon ht mainstream media adter all fans should control everything how a club should be run, player wage and so on

nobody forces anyone to pay such a price and too many teams get the price back & more in different ways

Football is a pyramid scheme. There is only a small amount of really good football players (like you mentioned Neymar), so in order to get these great football players, you need to pay them a high amount. This is nothing new and this also happens in other businesses.

That being said: There is a mega shit ton of money involved in football. TV rights, licenses, merch, money from competition, branding, etc., so it is normal the money is distributed.

The football players are not the problem. When players like Ronaldo or Messi were young they had no clue about this development in football. Actually, the football players are just like slaves. They get their salary and they have to do what the team says and if they are injured or don't "work as expected" they are getting replaced.

From my experience, the UEFA and FIFA are the problems. These are organizations, which earn a shit ton of money, by doing what exactly? Owning rights of the tournaments like the Champions League or World Cup? What exactly is their contribution? They keep pushing players and teams to play more and more matches. They are absolutely corrupt and it's not a secret.

This is pure capitalism, if a lot of clubs want to be a part of them, then you can make a very expensive offer. The football industry generates a lot of money and they can afford these kind of salaries.

If you think that the European clubs are in huge debt because of soccer player's salary then think again.

The reason the top European clubs are in debt is simply because of mismanagement. Do you honestly think any business would ever pay its employees more than the business acquires in revenue?

If you actually compared how much these top players generate in terms of shirt sales, commercial revenue, tv revenue, sponsorship etc...you would realize why they get paid the amount they get paid.

The comparison with the NFL is like comparing apples and oranges. The NFL is a league composed of franchise teams. Year after year no matter how badly a team performs in the NFL there is no risk of that team being relegated out of the NFL. On top of that there is a set amount that all team receive every year...In soccer however when a team finishes at the bottom of its league, that team drops to a lower division.

In soccer the difference between a team finishing first in the league or last can be one player...Messi, Ronaldo, Neymar, MBappe for example...The amount a team receives from the league, tv revenue and so forth is based on the team's standing at the end of the season...So you can see how much influence those players play not only in the revenue that the team receives from the league but also from revenue outside of the sport.

So why shouldn't they get paid what they are getting paid?

Hooligans doesn't seem to blame the players or their agents but the owners

Oh and it's football, not soccer ;)

"Americans" call football a game who is played with the hands

If Soccer were to implement salary caps, wouldn't that make players want to go to the teams in nations with the lowest tax rates?

my own personal opinion is that there should be a salary cap in soccer, both for players, coaches and agents-
