Almost any service will turn over their records when they see a subpena.

Plus, the entire US justice department has a hard on for lutz and anon, unlimited resources and manpower = overwhelming odds.

HMA is for making twitter accounts and similar next-to-nothing grey hat tasks, whoever is stupid enough to do major hacking over commercial services - deserve to be punished. Of course they will report and give logs, its clearly stated in their tos.

Exactly, what kind of loyalty is 12 bucks suppose to get you.

There's plenty of hosts and anonymity providers who make it a cause to not hand over information. And they protect political dissidents, hate speech, anything, just on principle. As the years go by anonymity providers will keep getting bigger.

I don't believe that they do it for money. There is something more important than money is to them.

I found this part of the article interesting though = Harder-core hackers or others looking for more certain anonymity often use zombie machines on botnets created by malware and other proxies over whose recordkeeping and vulnerability they have more control. anyone know more about this? what are zombie machines? lol

Custom hacking software and quad core slave computers devoted solely to the task at hand. Planning a caper? j/k

Yeah, its anonymous until the FBI gets involved. You have to be doing some really bad stuff for the FBI to get involved, so it is anonymous up to a point.

Ha ha a disposable slave computer, something you won't mind melting after you have totally wrecked some shit, good hackers can turn many peoples computers into zombies while their not using them

Some deep stuff those guys are into, but if you can infiltrate big time why the hell not and if you get caught then well you really have no excuses and have to face the music. Shame though thier talents aren't put to better use. But then I guess a lot of us would have way more competition if that was the case and they decided to play with internet marketing tactics.

I need to find me a BFF like that :p

Yeah, if the feds could get involved, just like everyone else said, you need to be doing more than using a service that literally has an ass in the logo LOL.
