So, why the hell crypto is dumping now?

Just want to know what happened in the last 24h, I didn't sell anything and still bullish, I just don't understand what happened in the last few hours

I'll tell you exactly what "happened".

In short, it's called deleveraging.

When too many positions build up in the futures markets betting with leverage then high quantity institutional holders, Blackrock and the like, orchestrate a dump if you will to take out those positions. Those who have gone long get liquidated and that wealth transfers to the orchestrators of the dump.

The fundamentals are clearly bullish and this is just a money grab from the smart money, what the common person calls market manipulation.

In fact, if you see the charts even a drop to $75k does not interrupt the bullish momentum and it might strengthen the move upwards actually. Do not panic like the average Joe.

A secondary reason is strengthening US economic indicators that came out yesterday which may suggest a Fed rate increase this year. This is generally not good for stocks and crypto as manifested yesterday in the stock market too that was significantly down for this reason.

its like a 7% dip for ants, during every bull cycle it’s pretty normal to have 10, 20 of even 30% dumps. Number doesnt only go up, sadly. I see these small discounts as a good time to do an extra DCA.

In crypto, just buy more so you won’t regret it during the next all-time high.

Everybody was optimistic about crypto until yesterday, what happened? What is the specific reason for this dump from $101k to $93k again?

I'm still bullish, but what happened? Is this because of Trump opening his dirty mouth to say shit yesterday? Don't want to discuss politics shit here, but it's the only thing that I read recently that may explain it, but I'm not very well informed, what happened??
Not everybody.

Unfortunately, my A4 post got deleted for being too political.

By the way, the "Trump 'Buy the Rumor, Sell the News'" scenario is the only reason we saw BTC surpass $100k in 2024 instead of (around) 2027-2028. So, you might want to thank him for that!

Or you want to believe that BlackRock with their 10k BTC under management care if BTC drop to 45k ..For the trillionaires, billions are mere dust, and millions mean nothing. They make money in both directions :)
I said it once.. will repeat my self.. keep ambrella not basket.

Is #GreedParty time..but also an opportunity :)

no dump,no pump

The recent cryptocurrency market downturn is primarily due to stronger-than-expected U.S. labor market data, which has reduced the likelihood of Federal Reserve interest rate cuts, leading to decreased investment in riskier assets like Bitcoin.

Oh boy. After such a long day I needed comedy like this in my life. You should consider writing fiction books.

Thank you.

As some have already stated... it's market manipulation by whales, mainly firms like Blackrock and the like.
Those people are using crypto as a means to acquire more FIAT currency and not the opposite.

My suggestion would be for you to do the same.

Ride the waves by swing trading, and set apart a determined amount of crypto you want to hold on to.
Occasionally adding a little bit more to your crypto bag, proportional to your swing trading gains.

You know.. there was another one around.. dreaming BTC at 108k this week.
He was holding a very special trading crystal ball .

You can find his thread .. I'm sure you will become BFF :D

Want to hear better fiction story?

"Under the so-called BITCOIN Act, the US would accumulate 1 million bitcoins over 20 years, with the goal of owning approximately 5% of the total supply.".

Trump is 78 years Elon 53 today, Michael J. Saylor is 59 .

They can say/claim whatever they want today.

Chances are that in less than 20 years there will be better digital asset than Bitcoin of today :)

Today saw a big drop in bond prices, which means a big increase in yields. Basically rich investors are dumping their bonds as the consider lending money to certain countries highly risky. Crypto actually booms and busts along with the mainstream financial markets which is one reason why I recently turned skeptical on bitcoin.

I don't know why people fall for rhetoric like this.

I've been saying this was coming since late last year.

I sold all my altcoins, and here’s why

Crypto and Volatility go hand in hand, key here is buy on dips and hodl till you’re in profits usually I would say simply hodl long term but these days I don’t see patience in crypto holders

Some hack news, liquidations etc.
Big players eat it. They sell at the news make massive profit watch the panic sellers sell then price crashes then big players buy cheap and rinse repeat.

Read:
Big bank always takes little bank.
Scared money don't make money.

Most likely that the long term holders cannot hold for longer, last November the people who sold their holdings had around 60% gain.

So now the price is stalling around 90k. I think maybe it'll go down to 70k?

Did they sell it though? community notes says nope, this doesn't explain completely why there is a dump.

I don't know either ... That person on the tweet believes it has been sold.
