I wasn't trying to solicitation thanks and I got no warning the thread was going to be closed nor did I even get an alert when it got closed, I was simply trying to replicate what another member did here a little while ago and thank BHW... many people including me have learned a lot from here.That thread got closed because it was soliciting thanks, nothing more sinister than that.

Dunno about this one. I, personally, shut a lot of threads down or clean them up because of hijacking and off-topic bickering.
If there's something in particular that's an issue, either post it here or PM me if you want.
Specifics I can work with. Emotions... tend to make me back away slowly and calmly then run like hell once I'm out of range.
Have you told Ceosam about this? He is into fine dining experiences.

That one was started n 2008 and got closed in 2012. I'm going to assume that as the forum got bigger, threads like those became undesirable.
The rules around here have changed over the years, and what was once allowed may no longer be allowed here these days.
