life is certainly a roller coaster bro....... but isnt it less fun to live for the forseeable...i think living for the unforseeable is much more fun..The nomad life got too difficult to pursue, so after 6 years bouncing around the planet I got a long-term visa for the first time & now live in Thailand for the foreseeable.
Yes absolutely.... moreover things go according to our approach mostly! There are prospects for you to settle and develop.
sounds like you been on a roller coaster too.... binge watching netflix ofcourse became a part of many of our routines...( iam guilty while i admit this)Was in China, Thailand and Korea. Learnt how to make ios and android apps.
Two days to deal with this terrible situation: become depressed, play video games, do nothing, watch netflix etc. OR learn something new, keep yourself busy by setting yourself goals (in my case it was app developing), try to improve yourself
the first part of what you told...is awesome man...... i rarely see anybody being disciplined during such times... most of my people complain about being used to staying home.. binge eating and netflixing while you have been working on yourself..... and my regards to your people.. hope they get well soon..! stay strong!Harmony in family improved during lockdown, and I spent enough time gaining knowledge for the future prospects and my own diet, nutrition and workout achieving me some goals which I've failed to, in past 18 years.
I lost 24kg fat, gained 5kg muscle since day 1 of lockdown and still got about 10kg more fat to lose by March 2021. The biggest change it brought to me is that while my whole family is currently infected with novel covid19 as I write this since last 2 weeks, and I've had zero symptoms while I used to get most severely affected with any disease in family until lockdown began.
yeah, man i understand... travelling had become a real issue..i still remember how groups of migrant laborers where held up in between their home towns and workplaces...this issue hit almost every sector of the society across the world.Have had 4 different flights cancelled and am still chasing a refund on two of them from months ago.
One of the flights when I was trying to leave Cyprus didn't even tell me they had cancelled the flight, so with no days left on my visa-free period I turned up to the airport in Larnaca, walked to the desk for the airline and it was completely empty.
Looked on the boards and the flight wasn't even on the board. After 30 minutes of screwing around talking to airport staff and a call to the airline I found out that they had cancelled the flight and at 1pm in the afternoon I had no flight out of Cyprus, in the middle of a pandemic, with most flights booked, and no more days on my visa-free period.
Fun times. Incidentally, that flight is one I'm still yet to get a refund on.
i can feel this man...... lol!My lockdown story? Washing hands with ethanol everyday!!
ow...interesting! yet iam astonished at the way you are cool and composed about it! more power to you!Got bored/inpatient and overspent a trillion on FB ads
woah....self revival hmmm..interesting! and yes bring it on Mr. Corona.. we are stronger than you areFirst lockdown :
- Acheiving thesis writing
- Eating a lot because I used to be underweight and it cured boredom
- Grinding Apex Legends ranked (hardstuck daimond cause I'm not so good)
- Smoking too much pot
- Putting ion 15kgs of fat (It's ok cause I'm tall asf and had a good margin)
Second lockdown :
- Gathering partners & friends at my place
- Building a gym in the garden
- In the process of turning 15kgs of fat into 7kgs of muscle
- Stopped smoking pot/cigarettes (for the xth time)
Looks like second lockdown will continue for at least one more month where I live...
It's actually ok
Bring it on Corona, I'm ready for more lockdowns !
if socializing with the world was your brain food then lockdown was definitely difficult for you... i get it.Boredom at it's peak.
Missing beaches, outdoor cafes and what not?
Netflix and audiobooks are my only resort to kill time. Never had I stayed indoors for a very long time. People just can't wait till everything hits rock bottom. They make frequent attempts to roam around places which are strictly prohibited. Ugh..

Yeah dude, my lungs are like "whoa, is this real life ?"woah....self revival hmmm..interesting! and yes bring it on Mr. Corona.. we are stronger than you are![]()
Good to hear...!If this had happened soon after I started moving around I'd have been pissed, but after 6 years of only staying in places short-term it's been nice to relax in one place for a while. Plus, Thailand is awesome!
Looks a bit similar to meFirst lockdown :

People getting used to it, the first one was like hell,
the second still somehow better but the old days were far much better for sure
Smoking that stuff again?Well my lockdown. I was doin nuthin.
Two cops walk up and start yellin at me. I had to eat my blunt on spot.

Fuck that
That's deep but really right,Definitely
It's kinda weird when you think about it
Your "the old days were far much better" really makes me feel like we're in a soft-post-apocalyptic movie
The kind of apocalypse that is just moring, no threat to humanity but an obligation to radically change lifestyles
Same fo the mask, dunno where you live but a year ago, asians wearing masks would look superduper weird to us, for me it clearly was a dystopian sight
