I have no idea what the metrics are but!
I recently had a video hit 18m views in 3 days on my personal FB page.
that MIGHT of helped. Anyone else get one of these recently ? had 3 marketing friends on FB get one too this week.

Got the same about two days ago for my profile. Uploaded my ID and still waiting for the badge.

They are currently verifiying tons of pages and profiles. Just go to twitter and enter "facebook eligible" or "facebook verified"

I guess they do this in order to get enough users for their new Mentions App which can just be used by verified pages.

That's strange, I used to always think that the verification process for Facebook would be a challenging one.

My guess would be that they're lowering requirements and such, or maybe you're really just that Facebook famous?

People used to make an abundance of fake Twitter accounts in order to get their real ones followed/verified, but Twitter caught onto that relatively quickly.
 
Good for you. That is awesome news. Guess I will have to look for them now, never noticed them before.
 
FYI: I got the same popup message like the OP and today I received this message:

"Thanks for your request. We've reviewed this account and found that it's not eligible for verification at this time."

Don't know exactly how facebook is giving this "verify", but i saw pages with 5k likes verified, also with 1-2M not verified(bands, artists)
Anybody here know exactly how to "interact and make you noticed" by facebook?
