Sounds like a promotion by Netflix to get in the news, they are up against it now as competition is hotting up. If there is no story just invent one!

Yeah i can definitely see this being a real thing and it being an issue.
i have family members that won't Fucking shut up when watching stuff, so i always watch shows ahead of others.
also people get pissed when you accidentally spoil something.

People actually do that (I mean Netflix cheating). But I think that going through with a serious research to find out what % do it. That's too much. Most surveys (not to say every survey) aims profit. How can anybody profit from this kind of information?

Oh i do this all the time, not just with netflix.

For example at 2am this morning i was awake watching walking dead on a streaming site, and tonight on FOX UK i had to sit through it again with the wife and act all surprised.

Funny. So my wife and I have been watching Sons Of Anarchy on Netflix. I came home the other day and found her watching it. And no only that, she was a complete season ahead of me. I was crushed.
