Where is Sartre, has anyone heard from him? Did he go dead? I used to know him well and he just vanished.

Not sure if I should clap for his Houdini-esque disappearing act or weep for his untimely demise.

He promised people great things, when he couldn't deliver, he vanished.

Ok then what is it? I knew him outside of BHW and by all accounts he disappeared. No trace left of him on messaging apps either. I even knew someone who was a childhood friend of his and he told me he doesn't know where he is (although I'm not sure he wasn't lying).

Sure, but he disappeared from more than just BHW. I mean at this point if you haven't realized "Sartre" was an account he bought surprise surprise.
 
I was closely following another user who I was fairly sure was his alt, and that account too had dissappeared after being a fairly well-reputed member here for years. If what I thought was true, then his name irl really is 'Jacob Swift'. As a scammer, can you imagine how dumb you'd have to be to do that?

OP, after brefily looking into your post history, either you are Sartre or you need to get a hobby if you're still obsessed by some low life fraud no one even cares about anymore

When all the drama went down, I was bored and did some digging on my own our of curiosity (wasn't scammed or had any interaction with him). It's definitely not his real name. He made some efforts to conceal his real identity but was pretty sloppy.
