So my site got screwed by update...

From rank #5 to #194. You think this could just be a google dance? It seems like ALOT of people have been hit from this..

holy shit.another thread,there was an update for sure,sorry for you .i was hit very hard on 28 sept on EMD update,lost rank for 15 sites,ranking for over 200 keywords.fking goagle

There hasn't been any official word on any updates yet.... though I'm sure it's coming.

We all need to remember that SEO is forever changing... and anybody who is upset about this needs to redirect their anger into something positive. Such as being more proactive about when Google releases an update to combat blackhat techniques. This is not the first, nor is it anywhere near the last update they ever push out. These things should not bother you to the point of being angry at Google for doing the obvious in maintaining their search engine.

Adapt, or move on to a new line of work.

Doesn't seem to be any unusual fluctuations in google. http://serpmetrics.com/flux/ I haven't noticed any keywords changing either. When did this update occur?

From what I'm hearing today (having not experienced it myself), people started seeing huge drops in rank this morning. Not sure if Serpmetrix is updated on page load, or if it's updated on a daily basis... but if it's a daily update, we'll be sure to see an update showing up on there tomorrow.
