Thanks to the pinned post on crypto, I've atleast understood what it was.
However I've never known how to invest in crypto.
I really want to though. So many wallets, so many rules in my India, barely any people around me who know how blockchain even works.

I don't even know where to buy dodge (shitcoin but it's a start). And do many coins are not available on that coinbase site.

Also how to know which coin will rise?
What steps to take to conduct research?

FOMO.

Take it slow. Give yourself time and don't buy/sell based on emotions.

As for guides, there are tons of them online. Just take your time. Consider that if you are committed it will take time and brains.
Otherwise you will do more of a gambling game than 'investing'.

Although, like with stocks there is always a combination of investing and gambling.

I heard Bitcoin is banned in India?
Not yet but it will eventually happen. The government is shit scared of currency decentralization.

I am not going to lie, FOMO is a motivator here as I am an entrepreneur and I dont want to miss an opportunity.
However, I want to plan out all my actions and have kept some cash to experiment with crypto.

FOR THE REST OF THE COMMUNITY,

How do you know which wallet to use?
Why do they tell you to sync it with the website you want to buy coin from? Doesnt that make you vulnerable?
Where are people buying most of their coin from? According to my 0.01$ knowledge, it is not coinbase.

As per my understanding, the coin you are investing in needs to stand for something.
Any comments on all the above musings?

Bear markets coming soon, you do not want to invest now. Wait til about a year as everything is at its all time high right now.

That's good. Then I actually have time to read up more.

Same, I’m stuck at how to actually withdraw my money
