i have been reading these forums for ages (not as long as some i hasten to add) but everyone has a system that works for them, lets say craigs list, face book, micro niche ad sense sites and many more but which has earnt you the most money.

i myself have 2 micro niche ad sense accounts which earn me a few quid a day/week (depenends on the weather believe it or not) along with amazon affiliate earnings.
i have read loads of ebooks and watched many videos, my next target is a microniche with squeeze pages that doesnt rely on pure seo.

the point of this post is really to ascertain how you started making money, it may have been posted in some obscure post on here but if we keep it all in one place i believe it really may help the rest of us "noobs" started in IM <-- yes an acronym i have learnt!

if you are kind enough to help us nubs then we will be eternally gratefull, and you never know maybe one day when we make our fortune we may just credit you with some coinage :)

I like the first sentence you wrote because it sums up the main problem that a lot of people face - reading to much.

There are so many great ways to make money online, but if the best place to start is yourself.

    1. Analyze your situation - What experience do you have? How much time are you willing to devote? (Notice I don't say how much time you can devote. You must be willing to devote yourself and your time, even if it means sacrifice.)

    2. Set you goals - Do not make the mistake of being unrealistic and saying some thing like you want to making $10,000 in 2 months. It's not impossible, but it's highly unlikely for the average person to do this. Setting realistic goals will help you feel less overwhelmed, and it will keep you motivated because making smaller goals is easier to do.

    3. Pick a method - You should have analyzed your situation, so now you need to pick a method. If you have had some small success in the past with a method, then I advise you to start with that. Focus on what you did right to make that success (no matter how small) rather than focusing on what went wrong. If you want to try and tackle something you are not too familiar with, take the time to read up and analayze everything about that method. The main thing is to pick one and focus on that.

    4. Setup a plan of action - Make sure it's clear, concise, and it involves daily action.

    5. Get to work - This is where a lot of people fail. The may start off all hyped about it, but they eventually become less enthusiastic and soon find some excuse to skip something. Once that happens, it's pretty much downhill from there. You need to persevere and be consistent if you want to make it in this business. Also, don't forget to track your results.
