So I've got this IG account....

Whats up BHW, I've been doing video SEO and affiliate marketing for a bit and decided to give IG a shot.

I managed to get my hands on an account with 25k followers in the food meme niche. Posts get around average 500-800 likes and 150-200 comments so I think engagement is pretty good and only 18 posts.

Now my question for BHW is, do you have any ideas as far as monetizing this niche other than shout outs? I thought about changing the account to a luxury lifestyle niche as that personally interests me more, and I know of about 1000 ways to monetize that niche but I don't want to turn off the active followers I have on the account already.

Any ideas or insight from the IG veterans on here?

Simply changing the niche would attract a lot of un-followers which you would never want to see hence I would suggest you to keep growing this account by slightly switching the niches like if you're planning to go into luxury lifestyle niche, post more pictures of luxury dining experiences by people and then start moving on the to lifestyle pictures slowly.

Or another way would be to keep updating this account with food pics itself while create another one, get some followers on it, put on some good amount of pictures and use this account to promote that account. In the end, you have 2 accounts with both the niches covered and wider audience to promote different kinds of offers.

Personally, I think you should flip that account and start your own in the luxury niche. Will be so much more enjoyable

Yes, you will get a lot of unfollowers if you were to change your niche. But it's not like you're going to lose all 18k. If you change it, you'll still have a lot of followers which would attract people who are interested in the luxury niche.

Don't change your niche, it might force a lot of active followers to unfollow you instead try building up two separate accounts and you can always give a shoutout from your one account to another!
