So is it safe to change URL in profile??

A couple months back there was a mass-ban by IG and many ppl who had been banned had recently added URL links to their bios or put URL links in a post. My account had been disabled by IG the day after I added a URL link to my big cartel site. I was one of the lucky ones to be able to get in touch with IG and get my original account back.

I am wondering if it is safe to change the link in my profile? Was thinking of changing to a Shopify account rather than a big cartel for my clothing niche but I am afraid when it comes to IG and URL's, would appreciate some advise.

One thing I always do, is put a link in the bio of my main account, and then no links in my promotional accounts that are driving users to the main account. I have not had any problems with doing this, but I never run any bots on the main account, just on the promotional accounts.

Ugh deafo I figured my account was flagged since I follow and unfollow so many ppl. So you think it is totally unsafe to try to put a different link in the bio, even if it is a very legit shopify account?

And tompots, the thing is I hve never even used bots. I have grown my account to 7k followers organically by following ppl in my niche. And I only have 1 account for my niche, I'm getting used to the concept of having multiple accounts for one niche.
The link in question is in the bio of my main account, so that is what I would change. And if you don't mind me asking, how exactly do you drive users to your main account using the promotional accounts?

Just use the one domain and redirect to what you want then
