I'll admit it, I'm not the most creative guy out there. Which is why I need help with a certain English project. The basis of the project is to use persuasion (ethos, pathos, and logos) to get a targeted audience to buy something. We were assigned to select a product and improve or make a product that currently does not exist. I was pretty tired at the time and decided to go with the "paper computer," and my product is basically locked, meaning I can't change my product because it already went through these peer review forms that can't be done again.

Anyways, I'm hoping that the BHW community has some ideas (even troll posts for the lulz) for me to make this paper computer (really, just a tablet that has the properties of a paper) a bit better. At the moment, all I have is that you can fold it and it's "unrippable" (don't ask me how). I can't really think of anything that'll make this tablet desirable.

one could read the news on his tablet in the toilet (like normal tablets) and when finished pooping clean his ass with it (added value of the paper property).

That is a plausible concept, ficfroc. Instead of having a tablet, have it with simple functions such as reading emails and news, and when done, use it to wipe your shit. Seems like a hell of a better idea than what I have.

Hmm.. It's so lightweight that old people can carry it, but so gentle a child can use it and not be worried they would break it.
I dunno something off the top of my head. :( how are you doing on your paper?

Well, what can you do with a rolled up piece of paper?

Hit the kids, hit the cat, hit a ball.
It can be a horn, megaphone or didgeridoo.
You can use it to funnel fuel or water or any other liquid.
It can even be used to start a fire if you get lost in the wilderness.

This is exactly the same in every way.

ethos: It 's greener than a standard computer that is infested with heavy metals (arsenic, barium, cadmium, chromium, lead, mercury, selenium and of course pantera)

pathos: Small, lightweight, cool, "smells like a book", "feels like a book" (optionally waterproof in the ficfroc version for wash & go unlimited reuse)

logos: this is where marketing bullshit goes, improvise using big words. If unable to produce shitty copy, take a look at WF

I "took action" and went with ficfroc's idea. I got a B-, not too bad, considering this was done in two days in the given two weeks. I'll be sure to refer to BHW whenever I need some creative juices.
