So i decided to give affiliate marketing a try, i found a niche which is a hobby of mine i do in my spare time. I then thought why not make a website out of it, and so i was directed to BHW to find information on the right way to start. So i have a site up a domain name a little bit of content, but not much. I was wondering about getting into affiliate marketing and reaping some benefits for the work i put into my content, however whats the best them that i can work with for wordpress that is customized to easily input affiliate links from amazon, ebay or any other affiliate site?

if i have the theme down i can make the homepage static, and put a blog as a seperate page where i will post weekly on the stuff i do with my hobby.

I'm totally new to this whole website online thing so i'm sorry if i sound a bit vague.

I would wait a while before putting affiliate links on there. I'd start by getting your on-site SEO configured correctly and adding some regular, high quality content.

And good luck BTW :)

After you have chosen a niche then it's time to do keyword research

read this: http://www.blackhatworld.com/blackh...-absolute-newbies-guide-keyword-research.html
There are somany guides here at BHW

THen you have to add content, write by your self or outsource them. There are so many service in BHW where you can buy quality articles at a reasonable price.

Then start Link Building and Onpage optimization and flow the traffic.

Good luck OP

Good news, your site is a niche that interests you so you can start writing 2-3 quality articles a day for content.

That link will show you how to set your wordpress up with a silo system to strenghten your internal links of all the content you should be writing.

Adsense should be the first thing you sign up for, read their TOS and put Adsense ads up appropriately.

Can you tell me why? This was a question which was roaming around my mind. Is there any disadvantages in putting your aff link at the beginning?

Be patient, instead of focusing on revenue, focus on ranking. When you're ranking and receiving organic traffic, that's when you being monetizing.

I can't speak for Seeplusplus but sometimes a new site should hold off on ads at first. A new visitor to a new website might bounce because of intrusive ads before exploring the site and never returning.

This is really good advice thank you so much, i'm going to start focusing on quality content first and write what people would actually want to read then i'll be looking to monetize later.
