Amen.I hope you both make a full recovery.
If you were to compare this with one-week flu, what would you say?
get well soon mate, I lost an extended family because of COVID, hope this pandemic over soon
So, I got Covid from my father. He already had symptoms from the beginning of Aug: a bad dry cough and later developed fever as well. I started getting symptoms on the 6th of this month. It started as a strong headache and later that day I got a fever and felt very tired. I took an antibiotic and pain reliever. The next morning my temp was around 37.5°C, but it went away on its own. I am experiencing however, loss of apetite and fatigue. Today I had some soup (had lemon in it) because I thought I needed to take some liquids, but oh boy. I ended up vomiting and had to endure stomach pain and nausea for more than an hour until the medication I took would give its effect. Felt like hell. But now I'm feeling better.
My father on the other hand, though, is a different story. He has a dry cough which gets really bad sometimes and yesterday his temp reached 39.7°C. He also experiences fatigue and loss of appetite and is taking a bunch of meds.
This virus is scary man, and believe me, you don't want to catch it! If you're not concerned about yourself then please think of your family members. Beyond any conspiracy theory, or whether this was man made or whatever, this stuff is real. And it's impacting our lives!
It's all fun and games until you or a family member catches it, so please stay safe and keep those around you safe as well.
I am still not sure if I have covid. I am not having dry cough, but I have the usual cold symptoms. We all caught it including my 18 months old son. My wife, my son, our maids; all of them had fever. I did not. It stayed for like 5 days, and it is wearing off now.
I am afraid to go to a covid testing center as I could really catch the virus from there, or spread it to others. Did not take an antibody test yet, because the chances of antibody being present is not high right now. I guess I will buy the kit next week and do a test on myself first.
If this really is covid, then fuck you... you couldnt do shit to me.![]()
Have you been tested positive?
Get well soon. I was tested positive before, but I had no symptoms at all. Very strange.
Hi VIP
I know the feelings.
Got a mild confirmed in late May. I am live in Vancouver area of Canada. i am a senior 67 with pre-existing conditions so scary, but got some meds and medical equip to help me measure temps. take repeat tests every day and feel little better, stayed home, got virtual and nurse medical visits everyday for my test samples.
took about 5 weeks to feel better. have been back to emerg and all reviewed. so no more bugs in me.
i just thank god i live here in BC Canada. I just do not understand how you Americans are so brave and do it.
good luck guy and everyone. i feel for you so much.
Could be, yes. I was wondering as well. The chance of a false positive is quite high from what I heard.Thank you! No, didn't take the test. All symptoms are there, so we're sure it's covid.
Lucky you man. Any chance it could've been a false positive?
