first time i've ever had a site that is blacklisted by google.

It wasn't registered when i bought it and looking at the wayback machine it appears that it was registered by some spam blog which had completely random articles on it.

I can't find any spammy backlinks (xrummer blasts etc) infact i can't find any backlinks at all to my domain so i can only presume it was blacklisted because of the crap articles.

"how do you know you are blacklisted?"

I've done everything to get this listed. including setting up a google profile and using their tools to ask why my site isn't indexed.

i got the standard reply.

"We've reviewed your site and we believe that some or all of your pages still violate our quality guidelines. "

Now this site doesn't have anything that violates their quality guidelines from what i can see. It uses content that is quite similar to a few other sites i have but the content on the site is not duplicate content.

I've read others have managed to get out of the sandbox by just waiting and building links. Should i appeal via webmaster tools again?

anyone had similar problems?

I know this is an old thread, but did you manage to get out of the blacklist, if so how did you proceed ? Thanks
